Two flagship experiences beneath a moonless sky — an evening under the stars, and a journey that carries you from the Milky Way through sunrise and into the wild.
An evening beneath a moonless sky — a private astronomer, a chef's dinner, a research‑grade telescope, and the galaxy overhead. There is nothing else like it in the region, and no darker sky to see it under.

The only journey of its kind: you board in the dark, watch the Milky Way at its richest, meet the sunrise over the mountains, and roll straight into the wild as Yellowstone wakes. Stars, first light, and wolves — in one unbroken morning.
The September new moon falls on the 10th, so the sky is dark all three mornings. If weather demands it, we move a night earlier or later — to September 11 or 13 — and you keep your seat.
A private full‑day journey into the park — geysers, wildlife, and the great valleys, seen from the most comfortable seat in the park, with a naturalist's narration and a curated lunch. The coach carries your whole group; the glass roof means the view is never behind you.
Members of The 71 receive 15% off every booking, for the Founder and a companion, and book ahead of the public all year.
The sky is the one thing we cannot arrange. If clouds prevent the viewing, your evening moves to the next available night at no charge — no penalty, no argument. We would rather move your night than sell you a gray one.
Every journey is arranged personally. Tell us the date and the party, and we'll craft the rest.
