The Grand Opening · A Stargazing Event

The night

The darkest Perseid peak in eight years — and a coach built for it.

August 12 brings the peak of the Perseid meteor shower and the new moon on the very same date — conditions this good have not lined up since 2018. It is the darkest, clearest night the calendar offers. We're marking the debut of Montana's only glass‑roofed double‑decker with an intimate evening — a chef's dinner beneath the stars, telescopes at hand, and a ride to the darkest skies for the Perseids at their peak.

The evening

Dinner beneath the stars — and a ride beneath the meteors.

The Reception
A red‑carpet arrival, a chef's dinner beneath the stars, the launch program, and telescopes under the open sky.
Aboard the Coach
Guests ride beneath the glass roof to a dark‑sky site for the Perseids at their peak — a guide, blankets, and the galaxy overhead.
Seats, nights & weather

Fifty‑three seats a night. More nights if the world asks for them.

The Grand Opening is August 12. That is the night of the launch — the program, the first turn of the key — and it belongs to the twelfth no matter what else we add. Should demand run past fifty‑three guests, we open Perseid Watch evenings on August 11 and August 13: the same coach, the same chef, the same moonless sky — with the launch itself reserved for opening night. Evenings are added only as demand calls for them, so the earlier you reserve, the more say you have in which is yours.

Our clear‑night promise

The sky is the one thing we cannot arrange. If clouds prevent the viewing, your evening moves to the next available night at no charge — no penalty, no argument. And should the forecast turn against the twelfth, we will move the Grand Opening itself to the eleventh or the thirteenth: the Perseids run all three nights, and your seat travels with the date. We would rather move your night than sell you a gray one.
